I broke my Navicular bone in my right wrist. The bone Doctor told me it was the 'Joe Namath' bone. This was back in the winter of 1969 or 1970. The fracture is cause by the compression of the bone while falling on your palm, transmitting the force to the bone. I fell off an 18 foot high cliff while riding my dirt bike.
